The online gaming world is in shock this morning.
Thousands of US poker players woke this morning to find the poker accounts on Poker Stars, Full Tilt, and Ultimate Bet had been shut down.

US players can no longer play on any of the poker rooms and transfers and withdrawal options have also been locked down.
US Federal authorities unsealed an indictment on Friday against the founders of the three largest internet poker companies operating in the U.S. The indictment charges eleven defendants, including the founders of Poker Stars, Full Tilt Poker, and Absolute Poker, with bank fraud, money laundering, and illegal gambling offences, according to Federal authorities in New York. Restraining orders were issued against more than 75 bank accounts used by the poker companies and their payment processors.
As yet none of the poker rooms have made an official statement regarding the charges leaving thousands of poker players with no options but to sit and wait to see what develops.
