As the three biggest Poker providers in the world dig in for what can only be described as an expensive and gruelling battle with the US Justice Department, the three largest Bingo providers are celebrating a record start to the years revenues.
888 Holdings (888Ladies), Rank Group (Mecca Bingo), and Ladbrokes, have all announced a bumper start to the years business.
888 report a 9% increase in gross revenue for the first quarter, and despite the recent events are confidant this will continue.
Rank Group report a 2% growth in total revenues across all sectors and was hopeful for a strong year overall. Mecca Bingo halls rose 4 per cent and the spend per visit by customers continues to climb.
Ladbrokes report a staggering 18.8% Net gaming revenue from bingo alone and, despite recent takeover talks with 888 failing, are expecting more of the same for the next quarter.
