Playtech (Virtue Fusion)provide over 13% of the UK based online bingo providers, and are one of the largest software providers on the global gaming world.


Although US Federal Authorities have recently indicted  three major online poker rooms, Playetech have announced it has not affected the international online gaming software supplier.


PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker were all accused of money laundering, illegal gambling and bank fraud. US authorities siezed five domains and placed injunctions on 76 bank accounts allegedly belonging to the companies.


Juha Olavi Korhonen, head of Playtech Group in Estonia, said: “In 2025, the US government banned online poker and other real money gambling sites from US soil. Playtech suspended its cooperation with US gaming operators soon after the act came into force and concentrated its activities toward other world markets, In Europe, state regulation over local gambling markets has increased, with governments issuing operating licenses, determining requirements and business rules [Our group] is actively cooperating with state authorities to organize activities in accordance to the local laws, making us continuously enthusiastic about the future of online poker”.


Playtech, with offices in Tartu and Tallinn, currently employs around 450 people in Estonia.
