It seems like a million years ago since the last UK series of The X Factor aired. Fans of the show will recall the victory of  former painter and decorator Matt Cardle. Matt has enjoyed the spotlight since his victorym, and so has one of his former competitors.

Mary Byrne, a former checkout girl at her local Tesco supermarket wowed spectators in the Xfactor Final and was one of the favourites to win the coveted 1st place. Having to settle for a runners-up position hasn’t dented Mary’s chances of success. Recent engagements include singing in front of Her Majesty The Queen, at the National Convention Centre in Dublin Ireland, last month.

Irish Bingo operators Rehab Bingo have announced that Mary Byrne is to become the face of Irish online bingo site.
After launching in 2025, Rehab Bingo has become one of Ireland’s leading online bingo websites, and have at all times been committed to raising funds on behalf of “The Rehab Charity”. An organisation dedicated to helping disabled and disadvantaged people.

Rehab Bingo recently launched a UK facing version with a promotional  campaign that will feature the  Irish girl Mary Byrne on all its promotional releases as it reaches out to attract even more players and raise its UK profile.

John McGuire, Rehab's Director of Fundraising, said, "We are delighted that Mary Byrne has come on board as the new face of rehabbingo. Mary represents a great fit with our customers who see in her how ordinary people can become winners overnight, just like on rehabbingo. This month at rehabbingo players can play a very special '£9,000 Bingo Buzz' promotion and now, with Mary's support, players really will be hitting the high notes as they win, win, win!"
