Last night, for the first time, Vauxhall Motors transformed a very, very old church in Manchester into a fast-paced, high-energy bingo bonanza…bingo, as you've never seen it before.
With the help of some gaming madness, crazy cars and exclusive DJ sets from Northern legend and British fashion icon Henry Holland and Manchester DJ Rob Ellis (Galaxy FM), Vauxhall Motors has forever changed the face of bingo, from a guilty secret to an all-out party event!
Even the snow and below freezing temperatures couldn't keep the bingo lovers away, as hundreds of guests dug out their lucky pennies and pants in the hope of winning the grand prize of the evening, a brand new Vauxhall Corsa worth over £10,000. Chris Winrow, a first year student at Salford University, won the amazing prize.
Chris commented: "Thank you Vauxhall, this has not only made my Christmas, but my year! I've never played bingo before, but it's definitely my favourite game now. I'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel of my new car."
Thousands of hopefuls applied online for an exclusive free ticket to get themselves a date with a dabber. Those lucky enough to get a place were greeted by the UK's most unconventional bingo club, four-wheeled art commissions and top class music to watch balls fly.
