Pontoon.

The object of Pontoon 21 is to gain a hand (a set of two or more cards) with a value greater than the house, without going over 21. If your hand is over 21 (a 'bust'), you will automatically lose the game in the house's favour . In the event of a tie, unlike Blackjack where it would be classed as a push, the house has the advantage and will win the hand.

You play against the house. Any player who gets a "pontoon" (an ace and any other card with a value of 10), or a "Five card trick" (five cards which have a total of 21 points or less) is paid at 2/1. Any other hand which wins is at paid evens (1/1).

Unlike Blackjack, in pontoon the dealer does not show an "up card" to help you make a decision about whether to buy a card, to stick, or to twist, although, if you are dealt a pair, you do have the opportunity to split the cards therefore doubling your bet.
